MIDAS Release 2 Business Partner will build on the foundation of the modernized Farm Records process. The program has already completed design and development and is in the process of testing the Business Partner-related functionality.
This past spring, Change Agents in each State delivered Business Impact Workshops to promote awareness of the Business Partner release and to share key changes associated with the release. These workshops were intended not only to share relevant information regarding Business Partner, but also to seek and record feedback from our State and County office employees prior to Go-Live. State and County Office employees can expect additional resources, communications, and trainings as we continue to prepare for Business Partner Go-Live.
Business Partner will Go-live in the first quarter of FY15. When deployed, Business Partner will allow FSA staff to edit and maintain customer information and access program eligibility information in one consolidated view rather than multiple systems, and automatically validate customer information such as mailing address at the time of entry, reducing re-work and streamlining interaction with producers.
